Happy Teacher's Day!

Today we celebrated Teacher's Day - a day early but well, we're special! Haha started the day with ACES Day dance, that Kelley, Xin Yi and Jade choreographed. They didn't announce the results but I hope Fearon won! We need to redeem ourselves from the RHD loss lol. Fearon was sitting beside Gage-Brown and the Alicia (?) girl was like right in front so we could see her very clearly! She was the super cute girl who started talking to us about some Japanese anime after PE last Thursday hahahaha she's so cute! No one had any idea what she was talking about so we just played along and nodded and laughed haha. According to Ashley, she has some condition which allows her to be very extroverted and she can talk to anyone. I guess it's sort of a blessing and a curse as well, because she seems very trusting. Ah well. She is so cute asdfghjkl can't stand it. Cherie, Ashley and I were literally spazzing at her every move LOL you have been warned.

After the celebration, we had bio lesson for less than an hour and then had to go for band. Tan Qi went for some Music O-lvl briefing thing and so our tutor waited in an empty classroom for half an hour. I feel so bad asdfghjkl. Anyway after band I conducted punishment for half the people on my list. It was quite productive! In the end Ms Chang still chased us out of the band room or we'd never leave. Haha, I doubt we can finish cataloging 255 scores by the September holidays! Anyway, had a talk with Naasyidah and Nataly hahaha wow N and N ok cool.

Just because we fought before doesn't mean that I still hate you or whatever right? I am not so petty, but sadly you are. If you're hungry you can go and eat first right? Nobody is forcing you to stay up here. In fact, I don't think more than 1 person wants you in the room. Besides, you just had a class party less than two hours ago and you say you're hungry. Wow you can survive 4 hours of CCA without food and suddenlu two hours and your stomach is burned with hydrochloric acid. Interesting. You have no respect for people who have more authority than you. I'm not saying that my argument is only from my point of view, because other people have told me about how you scold them even though they are in the right and you don't know two hoots about the situation. I applaud you audacity. If you think you are up to it, why don't you try being us then? Oh, I'm sorry, I forgot. You desperately want to be one of us. Well it can't be helped now, can it? Nothing you do is going to earn you either spot. You only have yourself to blame, so don't take your rage and jealousy out on the people who have what you so desperately want. It's no secret that you abuse your seniority, and if you think you're so popular, well, that's only in your section which, may I add, you don't lead.

It's all right if my hard work and efforts aren't appreciated, but a little acknowledgement is not too much to ask for, isn't it? Why don't you try doing my job and see how it's like. It's not all peaches and cream, FYI. Do you really expect me to give up, sacrifice everything just do placate you? If you really think that way, well, you are delusional. All of your so-called "work" is done by other people. I really don't know what's going through your head but get this straight: Nobody owes you anything and you should stop taking things for granted because one day, you're going to find yourself on the ground with no one to help you up. Start taking responsibility and stop relying on other people as it only makes you seem worthless. If you can't even be bothered to step up and do something, you can stop expecting people to respect you.

Singing in the rain

The dance teachers showed us this video a few weeks back and somehow I thought of it while shitting just now. Hahaha ok maybe tmi, but I shat three times today. Oh jeez.

Anyway yeah I haven't touched the computer in almost a week and the first thing I see: Aloybriella. Gross. I think I'm going on a pre-Twitter-fast to get used to not using the Internet and then go on full starvation mode when Term 4 starts. I'm just so glad this week(s) (or past two) is (or are) over. Almost all the nerve-wrecking things are over - piano exam, science week (nightmare for tri-sci girls) and yeah ok that's all. HAHAHAHAHA.

Next week will be a relatively short week as there's Teacher's Day celebration on Thursday. But there's still band. Wow. And I would go out but no, I have no arrange all the scores sigh. How can I finish cataloging 255 scores by the end of the September holidays?!? Haha Naasyidah the angel said she'd help me though even if she had no punishment. AWWW.

This is a really random post and tomorrow we're going to perform for some sporting event at the Padang so we have to reach school at 0645 whoopdeedoo goodbye have a nice life

SMSS in the news (again)

I spent the entire week married to the piano and in the end the exam was still quite horrible. I was in school uniform plus thick fat Nike school shoes so the pedaling was very messy because I never practiced wearing a thick-soled shoe before asdfghjkl sigh regret x infinity but well no use crying over spilt milk. SOBZ I THINK I AM JUST UNTALENTED IN PIANO. Hahahahah oh well Grade 8 will be better!!! I'm just glad everything's finally over. Now time to concentrate on End Years!

A. Math test today went well. I was doing it in the study area because I came late to school (good girl here didn't want to pon test) after piano and my class was halfway into the paper already. Anyway I don't think I have a flashing neon sign on my head that announces to the world that I'm taking a test so this auntie came to me and asked me to go into the toilet with her. Omgad I was so scared ok plus there was like no one else there because everyone else was in class! Obviously I didn't follow her in lol plus Chua(t) would kill me.

Band Camp is on 3, 4, 5 December and I'll probably be missing sigh sux4me2bme. I'm (supposedly) going on some missionary trip to Northern Thailand for 10 days and only come back on the 7th. Fortunately Farewell is on the 8th, I wouldn't want to miss it for anything. I always couldn't go for the past two farewells so this year will be my first and hopefully not last. ^_^

They chose some photo of a three-generation-margtian rather than the cast of the 170th Anniversary musical to grace the front page of the newspapers, on an article ABOUT the 170th birthday of St. Marg's. Thanks a lot. :'-(

So much has changed since the beginning of the year, or maybe even back to last year. I'm sure everyone has felt it, but then again maybe it's just me. It's not just one circle of friends, but many other once-tight-knitted cliques. If you could call it that.

Not everything is bad though. You lose some, you gain some. But it's almost impossible to not wonder about those that have dissipated into thin air. All because of what? There is no answer to that. We're all so close, but yet far apart. It's like we've gone back to being awkward acquaintances, saying "hi"s and "bye"s whenever needed, and with nothing to talk about to fill the silence. I don't know what's going on in your life and neither do you me, all because of, well, just forget it. I guess it's better to find joy in other friendships and not dwell on broken ones.

National Day Celebrations 2012

Today's the eve of National Day and we celebrated in school, as usual. We're allowed to wear our own clothes in either red or white and the criteria is that shorts/dresses/skirts must be at most four fingers above the knee and no ripped/torn jeans or things like that. Nobody really expected them to do spot-check and all but yup miracles happen! I wore the same shorts I wore last year which is the longest white shorts I own but it's eight fingers above the knee lol. So I got called out to the front with Caryl, the only punks from 3/6. :'-( At least Sandra, Celestine and Yushan were caught too! So we're just standing in front of the whole school, watching them watching us, watching them laughing at us, watching them judging us. Oh the joy. In the end nothing much happened lol because Mrs Tan felt kind today. :-) O well next year I'm going to get a dress or something, SHORTS ARE TOO RISKY. Anyway, shorts are called "shorts" for a reason, and not "longs" right?!?

Celebration in the hall was quite fun! Everyone screamed along to the national day songs, especially classics like "Home", "We Are Singapore" and "Reach out for the Sky"! I think the standard of national day songs fluctuate from year to year! Not that I could do a better job but well, think about it. Really, love at first light?!?!? Heavily auto-tuned little girls?!?! Haha anyway yup jumped and shouted with Victoria and Danielle was behind us. Cue ear-blowing screams hahahah.

I have so many things to rant about but I shan't. I just realized I only have a few people I can really count as friends. What's the use of having so many casual friends and in the end you have no close friends you can tell everything to and not be afraid of them betraying you or judging you. I'm just really grateful to those friends hahah. :'-) That's quite sad and pathetic but well that's life.

Feli and I (-:

Crashed 2/1 in the usual hahaha we need more friends :(

(Are my shorts that short??? No!!!)

Kelley looks petrified, as always :(
